I am now accepting reservations for my Spring 2026 kidding season.

My herd consists of ADGA-registered Nigerian Dwarf and Toggenburg dairy goats, bred for strong structure, sound udders, and productive milk lines. All breedings are planned with show quality and dairy performance in mind.

Kids from these breedings will be suitable for:

Reservations are highly recommended, as kids tend to go quickly.

Reservation Overview

Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis once deposits are received.

Reserving a kid is for serious buyers only and requires a $100 deposit.

To reserve a kid or join the waitlist, please review my reservation policy below and then contact me through the Contact page or by email. I am always happy to answer questions and help match you with the right goat for your goals.

Reservation Policy

I accept reservations for planned and confirmed breedings listed on the kidding schedule.

• Reservations are filled in the order deposits are received
  
  

• Buyers may reserve for:
  
  

  • Doeling
    
    

  • Buckling
    
    

  • Wether
    
    

• A reservation is not considered complete until a deposit is received

• The breeding you are interested in
  
  

• Your preferred sex
  
  

• Your intended use (breeding, show, milk, or pet)
  
  

 Deposits

• A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a kid
  
  

• Deposits are applied toward the final purchase price
  
  

• Deposits may be transferred to another available kid if needed
  
  

If a reserved kid is not available (wrong sex, retained kid, etc.), your deposit can be:

• transferred to another breeding
  
  

• or refunded if no suitable option is available
  
  

 Kid Selection Process

Once kids are born and evaluated:

• I contact buyers in reservation order
  
  

• I provide photos and updates
  
  

• Buyers are given a reasonable timeframe to make their selection
  
  

I reserve the right to retain any kid for my breeding program.

 Pricing

Prices vary based on:

• Breed
  
  

• Sex
  
  

• Pedigree
  
  

• Confirmation and quality
  
  

General price ranges:

• Doelings: $400–$1,000
  
  

• Bucklings: $300–$800
  
  

• Wethers: $150–$200
  
  

Final pricing is confirmed once kids are born and evaluated.

 Care & What Comes With Your Kid

Each kid from Scrappy Acres includes:

• Disbudding (if applicable)
  
  

• CD&T vaccinations at 6 and 8 weeks
  
  

• ADGA registration papers (if applicable)
  
  

• Daily handling and socialization
  
  

• Wethers  are banded at  7 weeks
  
  

Herd Health

All does over one year of age are tested annually for:

• CL
  
  

• CAE
  
  

• Johne’s Disease
  
  

I raise all kids in a clean, well-managed environment with close daily care.

Sales Requirements

I sell goats to approved homes only.

Requirements include:

• Goats must go to homes with at least one other goat companion
  
  

• Proper shelter, fencing, and nutrition must be provided
  
  

• Buyers must be willing to learn proper goat care if new
  
  

I am always happy to help new owners and provide guidance.

Pickup & Final Payment

• Kids are ready to leave at 8 weeks of age unless  an earlier date is agreed upon- Bottle  baby
  
  

• Pickup is in El Dorado County, California
  
  

• Final payment is due at pickup
  
  

Kids must be picked up within 7 days of being ready, unless other arrangements are made.

Transportation

Buyers are responsible for arranging transportation.

I may be able to assist with meeting partway or coordinating transport, depending on location — feel free to ask.

Additional Terms

• Deposits are non-refundable

How to Reserve a Kid

To reserve a kid:

   • your intended use
     
     

3. I will reply with availability and deposit/payment options
   
   

4. Submit your deposit to secure your spot
   
   

I will keep you updated and provide photos throughout the kidding season.
